Either alone or combined with the PADI Rescue Diver course, the EFR course in Bali will prepare you through knowledge development and skill practice to be able to respond in almost all emergency situations.
What you will learn
Primary Care (CPR)
Learn the steps and techniques for handling life-threatening emergencies.
You will practice eight skills for helping patients who are not breathing, who have no heartbeat and may have a spinal injury, may be in shock or who may have serious bleeding. Learn how to perform CPR and continue to monitor the patient to provide every possible chance of survival while waiting for emergency medical services.
Secondary Care (First Aid)
This section of the course teaches you about emergencies which are not life-threatening.
When emergency medical services are sometimes delayed or unavailable, this section of the course teaches you how to provide first aid that eases pain and reduces the risk of further damage. You will learn how to assess a variety of injuries and illnesses and practice bandaging and splinting.
Care for Children
This section of the course allows students to learn, practice and apply emergency care skills specific to helping infants and children with medical emergencies.
Designed for people who work with children or are likely to have to respond to emergencies involving children or infants. This course is often integrated with Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) courses.
CPR & AED
This section focuses on CPR training and teaching how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).
This section of the course is often integrated into First Aid at Work programs. You will practice CPR on proper mannequin and with a dummy AED device.
First Aid at Work
Some countries such as Great Britain, Australia and Canada, governmental laws require enhanced CPR and first aid training for the workplace.
First Aid at Work programs designed for these areas include additional topics and skills to meet requirements while following the easy to learn EFR approach to training.
It is highly recommend to refresh your CPR and First Aid skills every 24 months and that is what the EFR Refresher course is designed to do.
Focusing on key skills, the course allows you to stay up-to-date and ready to provide aid when and where needed.
